Godfrey (complete name “McKittycreek’s My Man Godfrey of MacDuff”) is a pedigreed Maine Coon Cat who lives with Barb and Ron just outside of Pittsburgh, PA along with several other Maine Coons and American Shorthair cats. “G” as he is affectionately known is a Classic Brown Tabby with White, which means he has the swirling brown and black marks of a tabby, along with white on his chest, belly and paws. It’s a common and popular color, but one of only many which Maine Coons can come in.
Maine Coons are one of two native breeds of cat in the U.S. and are known for their size, their long shaggy coats — and their wonderful dispositions. Despite how big they are, most of are just big lovable wimps!
Godfrey was shown as a “Premier” (altered cats) in shows sanctioned by the Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA).
